What to Expect

Our Beautiful English Creme Goldendoodle, “Sophie” is indeed pregnant! We look forward to welcoming these calm and affectionate babies into the world around December 6th! F1b Englishdoodles are known for their docile, calm and loyal personalities. Puppies should mature to 25-45 lbs, they are classified as hypoallergenic and non-shedding.

Our fun-loving Bernese Mountain Dog named Uzoma, started her menstruous cycle today (11-14-19). She will be bred to Rockwell for F1 Miniature Bernedoodles. Please check back for updates on this upcoming litter expected in January, we expect flashy 75% tri-colors and 25% bi-colors. At one month gestation an ultra-sound will be done to confirm pregnancy. F1 Miniature-Medium Bernedoodle puppies require a reserve to be placed before puppies are born. Because tri-colors are so rare in this size, puppies are usually sold before they are born. Please contact us today for specifics on getting your name on a waitlist. We look forward to hearing from you! 🙂

We are also excited to announce our new, state-of-the-art facility is currently being built in Middle Tennessee. Please keep this in mind if you are on our waitlist, at this time we do not have a “moving date” set in stone. Huntsville International Airport (HSV) or Nashville International Airport (BNA) will be the closest airports for people flying in to carry their puppies home. For now, we are still located in Lancaster; Northern, MN.

Spring 2019

We have had quite an eventful spring this year, welcoming two small litters of F1 Mini-Medium size Bernedoodles. Flower’s litter was born on Easter and Nadja followed in her footsteps the following Friday! Both Nadja and Flower are experts at knowing their bodies, giving birth and caring for their young. This is my all time favorite part of the business; to see and witness new life. As a previous OB nurse helping care for pregnant women, breastfeeding, and engaging in all aspects of prenatal/postnatal care… This baby stuff just gets me excited! If you all love seeing new life and witnessing the amazing birthing experience as much as I do, please let me know in the comments and I will try to post more. Also, let me know if you would like to see more graphic videos. Here is Nadja pushing in the second stage of labor.

We have some beautiful litters in the making:

1) We are expecting F1b Mini-Medium (25-50lb), 75% Parti-Color Goldendoodles, May 24th and this pregnancy is confirmed. These puppies will vary in price from $1800-$2200.

2) We are currently breeding our beautiful Poodle female named, “Creamsicle” to Rockadoodles gorgeous, english creme AKC Golden Retriever. These F1 Medium Sized Goldendoodles will start at $2400.

We also are checking heat cycles daily and plan to breed more F1 Standard Bernedoodles, F1 Mini-Medium Bernedoodles and F1b Mini-Medium Bernedoodles this year. Please check back soon for more updates regarding specific pregnancies. Since the weather is slow to warm up, we should be seeing more of our girls start to cycle very soon.

Until next time…Remember to be kind, love, and forgive always even if we do it imperfectly, God will cover our sins.  – Lacey

Farm Update

AKC Bernese Mountain Dog

Update: 02.04.2019:

Wow, it has been an eventful winter. One nice thing about all the snow and below zero temperatures is that our Bernese Mountain Dogs (which were bred for the Icelands) are still enjoying life!!! If only I had their thick/soft double coat to keep me warm. At least Summer is just around the corner.

Paisley’s stunning litter of black and white, F1 Bernedoodles are turning eight weeks on Wednesday! We are sure enjoying their snuggles and will be sad to say goodbye in just one or two weeks. I just love these puppies so much; Standard Bernedoodles really do have exceptionally calm and loving personalities!!! We are soaking up all the love they have and just adore their fun cuddles.

I love nothing more than a big dog that really has no idea how big they are! Nadja (pictured above) still thinks she’s a baby, her favorite thing to do is give me hugs and sit in my lap even at 100lbs…and growing! Nadja and Cherie are the two newest Bernese Mountain Dogs at our farm.  By the end of the month their health testing will be complete and we will know for sure if they will be joining our breeding program. They’ve already passed their full genetic health panel, but we are still waiting to see if they have good hips and elbows. Please stay posted to find out more 🙂

This week was super exciting, two of our females have come into heat and we are breeding them for Mini – Medium sized Bernedoodles.  Hopefully, everyone on our Mini- Medium Bernedoodle waiting list will be matched with a puppy come APRIL 2019!

Paris is also due any day with Mini-Medium sized Bernedoodles, but the ultra-sound only showed one or two babies. Terry and Christine Parkin will receive first choice on this litter.

Also, for those of you waiting for a Standard Tri-color Bernedoodle, we should have a couple more girls coming in heat soon. Please be patient, it will be well worth the wait. Color always come second in my opinion, but Raphael throws EXCEPTIONAL puppies with great confirmation and temperaments! We also expect 100% tri-colors when bred to a BMD.

All for now, Lacey and Justin

Upcoming Litters

Summer is in full swing!

Typically we have females come in heat in groups, three-four times a year: Dec-Jan, around March, May-June and again starting now Aug-Oct.  Since most of my girls only menstruate once per year, we need to be diligent about checking heat cycles on a daily basis. We run a strict schedule to keep our dogs in routine, so if you do not hear back from me  immediately, I am probably taking care of dogs! Please leave a message and I will return your call ASAP.

If you or a loved one is patiently waiting for your future F1 Miniature Bernedoodle or Standard Bernedoodle, I cannot say “Thank You” enough!  We should have great news very soon regarding our Miniature Bernedoodles in 2019.

* We recently added a few mature (breeding age) AKC Bernese Mountain Dog females to our program. So, we will have more chances of getting everyone matched with puppies this year! Thank you in advance for your patience.*

UPDATE on 10/22: Raphael x Silje had 8 healthy F1 Standard Bernedoodles on October 14th, 2018. Unfortunately, Silje needed an emergency c-section. Our amazing veterinarian welcomed Silje in his surgery room Sunday evening and successfully delivered every puppy and saved Silje’s life, as well. She would have never been able to deliver puppies on her own. Praise goes to Jesus; Silje is recovering exceptionally well and is gaining her strength back every day!! God is good.

Update on 10/23: Laila is expecting F1 Mini-Med Bernedoodles. We had such a fun time viewing the little heart beats on the ultra sound. Laila does not have a lot of babies in her womb, but they look healthy! Katya was also confirmed pregnant and she has a nice number of healthy puppies growing inside her. We are excited to welcome these two litters of F1 Mini-Med Size Bernedoodles into our home. Will keep you all posted soon!!!

F1 Standard Goldendoodles

10.25.18 – We still have two gorgeous female F1 Standard Goldendoodles available and two gorgeous male F1 Standard Goldendoodles available. These puppies are great with children, they are classified as “low-shedding” and good for MOST people with allergies. Typically, males do grow a little bigger than females. I expect them to weigh approximately 65-75 lbs at full maturity. The dam Mali LOVES water, she will go swimming everyday in the summer-time (multiple times per day). If you have children that love dogs, these lovable puppies are for you. A dog truly is man’s best friend, I am reminded of this every time I have a litter of puppies!!!  Your kids will surely enjoy teaching your new puppy tricks and your puppy will enjoy bringing the adventurous side of your kids out. At the end of the day, these pups are ready to greet your kids at the school bus or snuggle up on the sofa! They are at least 90% potty trained.

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me on this journey. For those of you who have been following my page, we have had a whirlwind of puppies born only three days apart! Both mothers (Mali and Tiya) each had 14 babies! Tiya had one still born and 13 healthy F1 Standard Bernedoodle puppies and Mali had two still born’s and 12 healthy F1 Standard Goldendoodle puppies. Although, both mothers had a little runt – so, we have been supplementing with goat’s milk around the clock. Just recently little “Berdy” has been pushed away from the mom by her big brothers and sisters, I suppose mother nature’s way of saying, “mama doesn’t have enough milk for everyone.” Which, is why I decided to let little Berdy go to my mother’s house (Kelli) at Rockadoodles. She is so good with puppies with “failure to thrive”. She will start him on electrolytes and lactated ringers four times a day, she also has a wet mom with fewer puppies. We are hoping this will help little “Berdy” get stronger, more vigorous and build his will to fight.

Please check back for updates as this little guy grows and matures!
